What is patrole de france?

The Patrouille de France is the precision aerobatic demonstration team of the French Air Force. Founded in 1931, it is one of the oldest and most renowned aerobatic teams in the world. The team flies a fleet of eight (plus two spares) Alpha Jet aircrafts painted in the French national colors of blue, white, and red.

The role of the Patrouille de France is to represent and promote the French Air Force and the country as a whole during air shows, national celebrations, and international events. Their precision maneuvers require extensive training and practice, as the team performs extremely close maneuvers at high speeds for crowds of thousands of spectators.

In addition to their aerobatic displays, the Patrouille de France also carries out various military missions, including search and rescue operations and escort missions. The team has performed all over the world, including in countries such as the United States, India, Japan, and Russia.
